Ready for a new Hypnobirthing Class?
What do you feel that you never have enough of? I know for me it’s time and money. With four young children making up our family of 6, living in Linlithgow in West Lothian and running my own business, KG Hypnobirthing West Lothian, there are never enough hours in the day and days in the week! I won’t bore you with the finances of having four children aged 6 years and under!!
We all love a bargain and like to feel that we are making the most of what we have. One of the purposes of starting my Relaxation in Pregnancy classes by KG Hypnobirthing West Lothian earlier this year, on a Tuesday night in Linlithgow, was to make antenatal education within West Lothian, Bo’ness, Kirkliston, Falkirk and Stirling more appealing, more affordable and less daunting. That is where the format came from. A little bit of me, Victoria, a qualified midwife, KG Hypnobirthing teacher and Mum of four, with the Hypnobirthing script to begin with and a little bit of you, with the open forum discussion afterwards. The chance to ask all your pregnancy, labour and birth questions and voice any fears or worries in a safe space with honest answers and evidence based facts. Promoting positive birth at the heart of what I do.
I have been running the antenatal education classes in Linlithgow since March this year and they have proved really popular so far. The lovely reviews and the feedback I get has got me thinking. What more can I offer? With lots of you interested in Hypnobirthing but not all booking the private course, my brain has started to tick. My private KG Hypnobirthing sessions, one to one, in your own home are optimal. They always have been and I will continue to tell you that because it’s the truth.
However, with the thread of time and money running through our daily lives it has made me want to offer more. Wouldn’t a class that sits between my Relaxation in Pregnancy Classes and one to one KG Hypnobirthing package be perfect?!
So here you have it. I am now rolling out a Hypnobirthing Basics Class by KG Hypnobirthing West Lothian. So what is it? Two, 90 minute classes, in a small group of women only, learning and practising all the KG Hypnobirthing techniques and tools. The class will cover the four key areas of KG Hypnobirthing, breathing, visualisation, relaxation and deepening relaxation. You will also learn about the history of hypnosis, the use of words, basic anatomy and physiology of labour, statements for an empowering birth, information and discussion around being “allowed”, the stages of labour and taking responsibility for your birth. All these skills will aid you in having a positive birth and the best possible birth experience for you and your baby, on that day.
“How much?” I hear you cry! The normal price for these classes will be £125. As a special Introductory Offer, the course starting in November 2016 will be just £99. If you wish to purchase a copy of the KG Hypnobirthing book and CD for home practice you can do so for £12. The same principles still exist, you need to practice, practice, practice. KG Hypnobirthing will not promise you the perfect birth, nothing can, but it will give you the best birth for you and your baby on that day. Hypnobirthing Basics will give you what it says on the tin. The basics, which will make a huge difference and help you, if you practice them.
If you find that after the Hypnobirthing Basics course you are looking for more, you have so many more questions, or your partner wants to know what their role is, you simply pay the balance between the Hypnobirthing Basics course and my private one to one package, effectively getting the Hypnobirthing Basics course for free. What’s not to love?! Subject to availability. I am a one woman show and there are only so many hours in the day! With upgrading to the private course, you will get the full four sessions covered for you and your partner in your own home, with everything already covered in Hypnobirthing Basics and the addition of subjects such as birth partners questions, midwives and obstetricians role, midwives dilemma, inducing labour more naturally, transferring to hospital, partners role in labour and birth, extra things to help you relax, birth plan discussion and help to write birth plan, what to pack for hospital, nutrition etc, my support via email, text or phone up until the birth of your baby and a postnatal visit at home to discuss and debrief about your birth experience.
The classes will take place at The Old Pavilion, At Linlithgow Cricket Ground, Edinburgh Road, Linlithgow, West Lothian. The first course is November 25th and December 2nd, 2016. Spaces are limited to make it a small class. To book just call or text me on 07981 726328, message the Facebook page, KG Hypnobirthing West Lothian or email me on firstname.lastname@example.org
